Welcome to Draw Events

Draw Events Ltd was launched by Draw Design & Communication Ltd to deliver outstanding social care events for the professional and consumer audience.

The Alzheimer’s Show is the first of these. This unique event is dedicated to the needs of the dementia community and is supported by Alzheimer’s Society, Alzheimer’s Research UK and Dementia UK/Admiral Nurses.

This event brings products, services and information to those public and professionals living and working with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

The events

Launched in 2013, The Alzheimer’s Show has attracted over 18,000 public and healthcare professionals all looking for support that can help to care for a person living with dementia.

The 2019 show was our busiest yet and the 2020 show promises to be bigger and better than ever before. These shows are an unrivalled opportunity for businesses to meet a visitor audience of care professionals, family carers and the general public looking for the latest and best products, services, advice and support for those living with dementia. If you supply these then this is a must attend event.

Features at the shows include a full conference programme across three theatres, practical activity workshops, Admiral Nurses 1-2-1 Clinics and, new for this year The Virtual Dementia Tour, the closest a person with a healthy brain can come to understanding what it might be like to live with dementia.

We are proud to have the full support of all the leading charitable organisations in the sector, demonstrating the need and importance of an event dedicated to the biggest social care issue faced today.

Alzheimer's in the Frame

An exclusive collection of 16 original portraits of famous icons with dementia has been created for The Alzheimer’s Show by a range of acclaimed and talented artists. The collection features ‘Memorable Icons’ who either lived with or are living with dementia and includes Baroness Margaret Thatcher, Sir Harold Wilson, Charles Bronson, Prunella Scales and Sugar Ray Robinson.

This unique project was commissioned by Ian Craigton Chambers of Ravenous For Art to help raise awareness of dementia and is being delivered in collaboration with Draw Events – organisers of The Alzheimer’s Show – and the Bounce Alzheimer’s Therapy (BAT) Foundation.

The original artwork are for sale and limited edition prints will also be available to buy: 25% of the proceeds will go towards staging further Alzheimer’s awareness events, as well as supporting the BAT Foundation’s research programme and the charity’s specialist equipment development, installation and staff training initiative in care homes nationwide.
